Stadium Rehearsals are held at Williams Stadium,
located on Stadium Drive, just off Glenbrook between Buckingham
and Walnut, each Monday evening of marching season from 5:15
to 7:15 pm. Parents should drop off students on the HOME side
of the stadium. Look for the big press box on top of the stadium.
That's the HOME side. Students will enter and exit the stadium
at the west end of stadium. That's the end with the field
house for the compass-deficient.
Parents are responsible for drop-off and pickup
of students to and from Williams Stadium. Percussion parents,
you get to make two extra trips! 1.) Naaman to load
the truck with instruments; 2.) Naaman to Williams for rehearsal;
3.) Williams to Naaman to unload instruments from truck; and
4.) Naaman to home. Ride-sharing is always encouraged!
 Students
should arrive NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM. Percussionists
will meet at Naaman at approximately 4:30 to load up their
intruments into the band truck. All musicians should wear
comfortable clothing with appropriate shoes for marching on
turf. Bring you instruments and all equipment, music, flip-folder,
water bottle, hat, sunscreen and some cool shades.
Practice will be dismissed at 7:15 pm. Prepare
for a rush of activity at dismissal as the Garland High School
will be entering the stadium for their practice. A pre-determined
meeting place should be discussed with your student.
Feel free to stay and watch and catch up on
some gab with other cool band parents. Don't forget some water
and snacks for yourself!
