Mr. Schnitzer is in his 20th year as Director of Bands at
Naaman Forest High School, and is in his 24th year in the
Garland Independent School District. He is a graduate of W.T.
White High School in Dallas and the University of Texas at
Austin. Bands under Mr. Schnitzer's direction have received
40 consecutive 1st division ratings at U.I.L. marching and
concert competitions, and have won 16 contests at both the
regional and national levels. Mr. Schnitzer serves as Camp
Director for the Garland Middle School Band Camp and is currently
serving his second term as "Lead Teacher" for the
high school band staff of the Garland ISD. He is married to
Laura and has one son Jacob and one daughter, Jessica.
